Driveable RVs

RV Rental Online's driveable RVs category includes Class A, B, and C RVs. Any valid Driver license can drive all Classes of RVs.

Class A RVs are box-shaped motorhomes between 28 and 40 feet in length. They normally sleep up to 6 people, and have abundant space for storage. Their engines are powerful enough to tow a trailer so you can can bring ATVs, Dirt and Street bikes or even half the house including the kitchen sink. Towing hitches are many times locked and can't be used without prior consent and possibly a fee. The fee is to cover extra wear and tear on the brakes, engine and tires.

Class B RVs are converted vans, and are frequently called camper vans or van campers. They can sleep between 2 and 4 people. Most contain a small kitchen and bathroom. When they are converted from vans or minivans, they are given a "bubble top" to allow enough vertical space for walking in the RV. There is normally not towing available.

Class C RVs have a cab underneath a loft bed, and can sleep up to 8 people. They are between 21 and 34 feet in length, and do have some towing capabilities - talk to your rental agent about whether they allow towing on their class C RVs. Towing hitches are many times locked and can't be used without prior consent and possibly a fee. The fee is to cover extra wear and tear on the brakes, engine and tires.
